I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I hold an Advanced Degree in Architecture
from the University of Buenos Aires and I also studied Graphic Design, ceramics,
and photography. After being involved in the design field for many years, my
interest went beyond that into fine arts focusing on oil and acrylic painting.
My goal is to create a time and space to encourage a dialogue between the viewer
and my work. I look for this interaction, to be able to trigger a feeling, a thought or
a wonder.
I have always been fascinated with the mysteriousness and the complexity of
human nature. Relationships and daily interactions with people are my sources of
inspiration. Kindness, joy, ambiguities, hopes, disappointments, perceptions, are
all embedded in my paintings. Making each picture is like a venture, not knowing
where I am going to end the voyage.
In the process of conquering the unreachable and tell a story I free my energy in
each brushstroke. Colors, textures, lines, shapes, and composition all work
together to express what one could find inside one’s mind, the definite as well as
the uncertain.
The viewer becomes the witness and accomplice of our humanity. Ready to peel
off the layers that protect us all from the outside world and prepare to encounter a
rich, lively, and surprising world of the human mind.
